1. Product Introduction

Round SmCo magnets include solid discs, solid cylinders, hollow rings and countersunk hole discs. As standard high-temperature permanent magnetic components, their smooth round shape perfectly matches circular mounting grooves. Featuring high temperature resistance and natural corrosion resistance, SmCo magnets require no electroplating anti-rust treatment. With extremely low magnetic attenuation under high temperatures, they are widely used in high-temperature precision instruments and sensing equipment.

3. Magnetic Grades & Performance

SmCo5 (1:5 Series): Max operating temperature of 250℃, suitable for medium and small equipment working under slightly high temperature conditions.

Sm₂Co₁₇ (2:17 Series): Operating temperature of 300–350℃, ideal for ultra-high-temperature working scenarios in petroleum and aerospace industries.

SmCo magnets feature inherent anti-rust performance and excellent magnetic stability under alternating cold and hot temperature differences.

6. Usage Precautions

SmCo material is brittle. Violent knocking is prohibited during assembly. Edge chamfering is recommended to prevent cracking and chipping.

Select 2:17 series round SmCo magnets for equipment operating continuously above 200℃.

Choose countersunk hole types for mechanical fixing and through-hole ring types for shaft penetration assembly.
