1. Product Overview
Rectangular Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) magnets are standard block-type high-temperature permanent magnets. Available in solid blocks, countersunk hole blocks, and slotted step blocks, their regular structure fits flat mounting positions perfectly. Featuring high temperature resistance and excellent corrosion resistance, SmCo magnets require no electroplating protection and experience minimal magnetic attenuation under high temperatures. They are widely applied in high-temperature positioning jigs and precision testing instruments.
2. Product Classification
Solid Standard SmCo Blocks: Suitable for bonding and positioning of high-temperature equipment and simple magnetic assembly components.
Countersunk Hole SmCo Blocks: Ideal for screw locking and fixing of high-temperature jigs and molds.
Slotted & Step SmCo Blocks: Applied to embedded high-temperature instruments and limit modules.
Micro Ultra-thin Rectangular SmCo Magnets: Designed for miniature aerospace sensing components.
3. Grade & Performance(Refer to our official SmCo Magnet Grade List for detailed parameters)
SmCo5 (1:5 Series): With a working temperature resistance up to 250℃, suitable for medium and small-sized medium-high temperature equipment.
Sm₂Co₁₇ (2:17 Series): Resists extreme temperatures of 300℃–350℃, perfect for ultra-high temperature working conditions in petroleum, aerospace and other industries.
SmCo magnets come with inherent rust and oxidation resistance, maintaining stable magnetic performance in alternating hot and cold environments. For detailed grade parameters, please refer to our official SmCo performance grade list.

6. Usage Notes
SmCo material is highly brittle. Avoid knocking and extrusion during assembly; edge chamfering is recommended to prevent chipping and cracking.
For long-term operation above 200℃, the 2:17 series SmCo magnets are highly recommended.
Choose countersunk hole type magnets for firm mechanical fixation.
