Special-shaped sintered NdFeB magnets are non-standard rare earth permanent magnets different from standard blocks and discs. We adopt composite precision processing including CNC grinding, wire cutting, drilling and slotting. I. Main Types of Special-shaped Magnets

1. Arc-shaped Special Magnets for Motors (Motor Arc Magnets)

Arc, sector and chamfered arc NdFeB magnets fit closely to motor rotors, reduce cogging torque and improve motor efficiency. They are the core magnetic steel for servo motors, power tools and new energy vehicle drive motors.

2. Bent Polygonal Special Magnets

L-shape, T-shape, trapezoid, triangle, hexagon, U-type / C-type open magnets, commonly used for equipment positioning, magnetic jigs and sensor induction components.

3. Composite Special-Shaped Magnets with Holes

Integrated special-shaped NdFeB magnets with single/double countersunk holes, through holes, step holes and eccentric holes. They allow screw locking installation with fully flat and bump-free surfaces, specially used for tooling and mold fixing.

4. Ultra-thin / Step / Slotted Special-Shaped Magnets

Processing Technology Flow

Precautions for Selection & Use

NdFeB material is brittle. It is recommended to add chamfers for sharp-angle and thin-wall special-shaped parts to avoid edge chipping and damage during processing.

Do not over-tighten the screws of holed special-shaped magnets to prevent cracking caused by excessive extrusion.

Select H-grade or higher high-temperature resistant grades for high-temperature equipment to avoid irreversible demagnetization.

Special-shaped magnets require complex processing procedures, resulting in longer lead time and higher unit price than standard block magnets. Custom dedicated molds can be opened for mass orders to reduce costs.
